It's thunder storming in Chicago, so I'm reading a Christmas in July book

Just finished this advanced reader copy and loved it.

5 Stars:

This book combines two of my favorite events of the entire year: Christmas and a vacation at the beach. It's filled with adventure and mischief. I loved it.

Beautifully illustrated by Hannah Suyon who brought author Tabatha Jean's vision and story to life with great design for each page and also with easy-to-read font. I love many, but my favorite one is Mrs. Claus dipping her toes in the water with Santa. Technology can improve our lives by avoiding mistakes and saving us time. Although Santa prefers a more traditional approach he is pleased that all the tasks were completed earlier this year because of Benjamin Bart Bundle's ingenuity with his helpful machines and technology. So why not have a wonderful break at the beach on a deserted island? Indeed, they deserve it.

But disaster and fun mischief is about to happen, because a Toucan, a Snake, and a Monkey take over the place of three toys in the bag and leave the island to be delivered to children in different countries instead. Now letters are arriving expressing the indignation from the children who behaved but didn't get their present. The resolution is another adventure in itself, filled with action and humor.

Has a fun page at the end to interact with. Not a rhyming book (which I prefer). An uplifting read.
